World Art Day, a celebration to promote the development, dissemination, and enjoyment of art, was proclaimed at the 40th session of the UNESCO’s General Conference in 2019. Art fuels the creativity, innovation, and cultural diversity of people all around the world and plays an important role in sharing knowledge and fostering curiosity and dialogue. Every year, on April 15, World Art Day celebrations contribute to strengthening the links between artistic creations and society, fostering greater awareness of the diversity of artistic expressions, and highlighting the contribution of artists to a sustainable development.
The arts include a wide range of visual modes that children use to express themselves, communicate, mediate their thinking, and engage in exploration and investigation. Therefore, providing them with the tools for their expression will help them develop the skills mentioned above.
Nowadays there are many ways to encourage a liking for the arts, so here we bring you a list of books, games, and kits that we know that both children and adults will find extremely interesting and will be able to bring out their inner artist.
